What is a Robotic Boat?

A Robotic Boat is a boat type robot designed to operate on water surfaces such as oceans, lakes, and rivers.
Although it is sometimes referred to as an Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) or an Autonomous Surface Vessel (ASV), small vessels of less than 20 tons are often referred to as Robotic Boats.

Boat Hull / Floats

There are different types of boat hulls / floats for Robotic Boat depending on applications.

We have developed and prepared a wide variety of products such as a product that is the same type as ships such as mono-hull and catamarans, a SUP board/buoy product, a compact size product that can fit in a suitcase, and a large size product that can accommodate 8 people.

Control System and Operation Method

RC Model

RC model systems are designed primarily for remote control of components such as outboard motors (thrusters) and additional equipment.
You can also transmit video from the camera wirelessly and display it on the LCD monitor built into the transmitter.

ArduPilot

In addition to the remote control of RC models, the ArduPilot system supports autonomous operation.
You can pre-set route information, triggers (time), and so on to move it autonomously and to automate the tasks that you want to carry out.

Full Customization

The fully customizable system is a proprietary control system developed by Homura Heavy Industries in Japan.
It supports an internet connection and can be operated and monitored from anywhere in the world via a cloud server. In addition, it can also be controlled from your own software by using our SDK.
The system can also be combined with open-source systems such as ArduPilot and ROS.
